Front timing cover

Hey all -

Is the stock front timing cover on an 87 turbo motor the same as the cover that comes on the NA engine?

Replacement part numbers are the same on Rock Auto. Just just wanted to confirm.

Yes, as long as it's drilled for a 20 bolt pan.

But the Chinese replacements you find at Rock are going to be garbage.

So are NAPA's replacements good quality?

Most of us prefer stock GM units or earlbrown's cover. Highway Stars sells the GM covers for $199.

All the foreign covers are crap. Pioneer, Silver Seal, Dorman..... All from China with horrible fit. Some of them so bad, you can't even get the cam sensor to drop in the hole.
