First Race of the Season - 4/27/03-Byron, IL

It's time for Chicagoland's first race of the season, and it looks like the weather may co-operate - yippee!
Sunday, April 27, 2003 - Samantha Rix Memorial Race
Byron Dragway - The Playground of Power!
Byron, IL
This will be a crowded day at the track, so please get to the track early if you want to test and tune before racing. Race chairman Paul Dubois wants to assure attendance at a driver meeting at the Chapter tent area at 12:00 pm with eliminations starting at 1:00 pm. Soda, water and snacks will be on hand for members and racers.
We will be running three brackets for the race as follows:
Bracket 1 - 11.99 and quicker
Bracket 2 - 12.00 to 12.99
Bracket 3 - 13.00 & above.
Winners will be collecting points for the season. There will also be a few surprises awarded that day.
Again, please come EARLY if you need to get some test and tuning in.
