salvageV6 Daily Driver Joined May 25, 2001 May 21, 2011 #2 It's in the rear of the solenoid box, under the round cover that pops off. The thing vents to atmosphere in operation. Rear facing the firewall, the original is a paper filter with metal ends the replacement is a foam element. Points deducted for sure at a concours event for the updated filter. Although the originals turn to dust and crumble when you try to pull them out.
