all you have to say is it states it in the auction any other action is up to you. the key is to always state stuff like " right to end auction anytime" no guarantee etc.
however you will be surprised how many don't read the auction details.

I stated in one of my sales that all sales are final and "as is"....... Ebay/paypal still gave buyer money back after the destroyed my item....

Not true, mine had a bass/treble/cassette radio and has concert sound. I have upgraded the radio since to an EQ but it was basic originally.

I believe it has long been the policy of most auto parts suppliers to not warranty electrical parts. To easy to be wired incorrectly & then fried.

I don't really use eBay anymore I used to back in the late 90's early 00's so I'm not current with the way things are run over there. My question is this can you use SQUARE over there? SQUARE is a card swiping device that you can use from your smart phone. If you swipe the card it cost 2.75% or if you manually punch their # in it costs 3.5 % . Google square maybe it's a way of beating their monopoly over there

Did he have a reputable shop do the install, or did he do it himself?

Is he a qualified installer?
