Cumputer Guru's: Win10 and POP Email?

I'm setting up my new CAD station which comes with Win10 and I'm beginning to hate the email program that comes standard with Win10. I think I have it working with my POP email (Tech@BaselineSuspensions.com ) but it works goofy and I really hate all the privacy settings that I have to turn off and when I do I'm not sure the email is still working.

Is there a good standalone email program that I can purchase that works good with Win10 and my POP email?

I am partial to Microsoft Office Outlook. Once setup...it just works. Unfortunately, it is expensive. I get it cheap through my employer so I use that.
If I were setting up a Windows 10 computer without Outlook, Mailbird seems to be getting good press.

I'm not worried about the cost I just want something that works. I did some research and there's Outlook 2016 but it looks like it's a download only, no discs. Do you know if I can get the discs or will an older version work with win10? I'm familiar with using OL so this would be my preference.

An older version will work with Windows 10. I have used Office (with Outlook) 2010 and Office (with Outlook) 2013 with Windows 10 with no issue.
Trying to find this stuff on disc is another issue.
