Hi 87 gn front rebuild purchased g-body upper and lowers and moog 5600 from local parts guy, Not chain store locol guy in business 50+yrs, these springs were really tough to get in and seem too big for the car, so checked thru summit and there telling me the correct spring is 5606 moog? really confused any suggestions?
Correct front springs to use?

I just checked a 1991 catalog, it shows the 5600 listed for a regal 3.8 w/ac, and 5606 is
for a t-type and g/n. The difference in free height...5600 are an inch taller. Load rating,
#5600 rated at 1600 and #5606 rated at 1530. The car probably sits a little higher than
it use to, correct? And maybe the ride is a little stiffer, I would think. If you like the way
it sits, I would leave it as is.

...gotcha Charlie...now the catalog I have only shows the 5606 for all 86-87 turbo cars except GNX.I was using the 2009 MOOG catalog.5606: all(except t-types & Grand National) Heavy Duty.
It is a sealed power catalog and I'm sure things/apps have changed since 1991. Thanks!

When I put the 454 in my '85 Regal, I used 5642 which was for a 1983
with a 5.7 diesel, it had a load rate of 1860! It doesn't sag anymore.
