I just rebuilt my 200-4r with a CK Performance Master Kit.
in "D" all feels great. The manual 1-2 is nice and positive but the 2-3 feels soft.
I have a gage on the windshield so i can watch the pressures.
2-3 feel it soft so i have not tried it a WOT.
Book says if it drops more then 15-20 psi______
Book also show a 60 psi difference between gears.
I'm wondering if i got a valve (341) flipped around or the wrong spring on it (343).

Cheers!

Maybe this is it!
I just saw this... I did not put the plug on the valve!

the book is 200 pages plus about another 40 pages of stuff.
It's a bit overwhelming, lots of explaining how things work.

Just to clarify, the 60 psi difference noted in the book is between shifter postitions. If you accelerate through all the forward gears with the shifter in D or OD then the maximum pressure in all forward gears would be 240 according to the chart. This is where you would make the 15-20 psi drop observation, not by moving the shift lever from 2 to D.

Thanks! but i'm guessing if it slips WOT it will trash something.
so i dropped the VB to install the .250 plug but when i got the VB down and the valve out,
the plugs from Chris measure .312 not .250... so i clipped a spring and installed it.
( I'll never find the plug around here, would need to be mailed and i don't want to wait days...).
