We're coming up to Cincinnati the first weekend of February for the Easyriders V-Twin Expo being held at the convention center. It's kind of the "PRI" show for American V-twin's. We've never been to Cincy, so if anyone has recommendations for any local restaurants (breakfast, lunch, or dinner), or any must see/visit places please let me know!!

Thanks,

K.

Back in the mid 90's when I was working for a custom bike builder we had several of our bikes in the show and we went to the bar across the street just down the road, it was a lesbian bar, we had a Blast! In fact invited some back to the show the next day... LOL Never went out to eat at any restaurants. We heard the convention center was on the Gay side of town which made sense to us with the lesbian bar just down the street. Great time and a big place, Take some pic's it's been a long time since I was there...

There are alot of good places to eat downtown izzys is a good deli, check out any jeff ruby place or montgomery inn on the river.

this is a car board not a bike board.

How many times have I told you don't try to outsmart a smartass?? This is the "Lounge", and I quote: "Place for off topic relaxed discussions * No political or religious threads *"

Now... Since it was posted above that the convention center is on the gay side of town, does your 1970's porn appearance self have anything constructive to add to the thread?!?! :D

Campanello's is a good italian restaurant about a block from the convention center. It's an old mom/pap restaurant that feeds you a lot of food for the money.

Penn Station is my favorite lunch. There is one downtown somewhere. Awesome subs and the best philly cheese steak I've ever had

Skyline or Camp Washington Chili like Lonnie said for some Cincy chili....Camp Washington is not too far from downtown. Only one of those, and it was on man vs food last year. Skyline chili's are everywhere and probably 2 of them downtown. Gold Star chili isn't bad either. Get a 4 or 5-way (chili, cheese, spaghetti, beans, onions) or a cheese coney (hotdog, chili, mustard, cheese.)

Montgomery Inn "The Boathouse" is an upper scale bbq place. Good ribs...probably not the best ever but the atmosphere there is pretty cool.

Hofbräuhaus Newport is right across the river. Some good german food, fun and beer. Everyone dances on the tables later in the night....always makes for a fun night.

Stay away from the hooters in newport...it's nasty!

There are a ton of little mom and pa restaurants in Newport, Kentucky on Monmoth St, right across the restaraunt. Newport used to be a big mob town too. Pretty cool history there.

Union Terminal is an old train station turned into a museum right outside of downtown. If you like old buildings, check it out, especially if you like art deco. They have an imax theater there with a pretty good movie right now about the canadian pacific railroad.

Newport on the Levy, right across the river, has a real nice aquarium and some restaurants including duey's pizza and an irish pub/restaurant ...good stuff.

If you like ice hockey, check out the cincinnati cyclones schedule. they play at the coliseum in downtown. It's a minor league team but makes for a nice cheap night...often have $1 hot dog and beer nights.

Correction! After looking at my participant tag from the Easyriders show back in the day it was in Columbus,Ohio NOT Cinci so no Gay side of town to worry about....LOL

There is a little gay section of town but it also shares the same space with a lot of gang bangers. Its like...gay bar, gay bar, gangsta bar, gay bar, gangsta bar lol. In fact, ti (I think that's the rapper I'm talking about) got shot at down there and one of his body guards got killed. Anyone familiar with the area knows I am talking about northside.

BOAT HOUSE MONTGOMERY INN Saratoga Chips and RIBS you will love it!!
my mouth is watering now

If you are into adventurous things.

Ozone Zipline is well worth the money. I think it is like $75 a person and it is a blast. I would do it again!

If you feel like an ice cream, check out Grater's. That and the Cincy Zoo are the few things I remember from visiting my little bro about 15 yrs ago...

Forgot about graters ice cream. That's a must also.
Don't know if it will be done by then, but the Christian morlien brewery may be a place to take out. Cincinnati has a rich history in beer brewing. Was actually one of the top cities before prohibition. The Christian morlien beer has been around forever and is now trying to make a big comeback. They are opening a huge brewery/restaurant/bar downtown. Should be badass
