Never did this before when first installed my first sensor.

If the cam sensor is removed from the drive, the light will be on. Even with the cam tool.
You need to block the slot with a wide blade screwdriver or similar, to turn the LED off.

Got you! Bench tested it & yes it turns the light off. I'll have to work on it a little after work to see what my problem is.
