can I wire the high and low coolant fan relays together without a problem?

For the past couple of years I have had trouble getting the high speed fan to come on by itself. I have tried to diagnois but it's a pain in the rear. Can I hard wire the low speed relay and high speed relay together, so when the computer tells the fan to come on I will always get the high speed fan?

Are there any downsides as in the fan running to long or, whatever?

Thanks......

Maybe??

The low speed relay provides voltage to one side of a dropping resistor. If you put a jumper across that resistor, you will accomplish what you want, I think. And if you don't like it, you can just take it off again. The resistor is right at the fan.
Hope that helps.

2 easy ways to do it. 1) jumper across the large white resistor at the fan. Or what I did 2) toss the resistor and splice the low and high speed wires together and run it to the positive post on the fan.
