Hello all. I've been a member here for quite a while and bought a few items 2-3 years ago with the intention of building a mid-11 second car. I need to know which cam you guys like for the following set-up:
Precision turbo either PT52 or TA52. (one=590 horse and the other=600 horse)
50# injectors (not sure which kind, bought with the turbo from Precision way back)
Terry Houston downpipe
Aftermarket iron heads with the following flow numbers tested @ 28 in:
Intake Lift Exh
------------------------
54.8cfm .100 51.9cfm
110.3 .200 100.1
158.2 .300 129.4
189.2 .400 144.6
195.2 .500 160.5
.550
196.1 .600 163.3
198.2 .650 164.2
197.9 .700 164.2
I also want to get a front-mount intercooler down the road. I don't want to get a roller cam setup due to the cost. I've already bought a bunch of ZDDP plus so hopefully that will let the cam be ok! Plus does anyone know where to get a good engine assembly manual for these cars?
