Boost controller question

I have a question concerning adjustable boost controllers. I have a TE44 with the adjustable rod to adjust boost. Question is, how do the remote control units work? Whats involved in installing one etc.

I'll assume you are refering to the electronic boost controllers as seen on many import turbo cars.
They get the boost signal and hold it until you hit the boost level you want, then open the wastegate. Basically just a solenoid setup. It helps build boost a bit quicker because the wastegate doesnt start to crack open before your desired boost level.

Sure, they will work on any turbo car with a wastegate. I suggest doing more research on which ones work best before you drop thatkind of coin.
