V6 power has a 6262 with ported irons trw pistons flat tappet 208 cam with a stock location stretch i/c and it runs 6.80's in the 1/8 @ 25-26 psi on pump gas and alky.
With my old 6765 I ran 18-20 psi. Now with the new 6466CEA turbo i'm running 20-21 psi on 93 oct only. I took it up to 22.5 psi then started seeing a blip here and there, so I lowered it back down. No alky yet. The combo runs very strong on straight pump. I read a thread on other site where a guy ran a 10.23 at 131 mph on straight 94 octane, no alky. He's running a 70GTQ, .85 A/R, 4-bolt turbo with about 3500 stall. Impressive. Stock crank, rods etc.
If you think about it, pretty freakin amazing the power these motor's are putting out.... love driving mine on the street and do it all I the time, as long as the roads are dry. I'm hooked on alky and 25/27 lbs boost, 23/21 timing, all the time.
With no boost control I couldn't run less than 21-22 psi on stock waste gate. Had a hint of knock so i changed to an external gate and backed it down to 18psi on 93oct only. Not even a hint of knock rock steady 11.5 A/F

I routinely run 7.1s in the 1/8th bracket racing my car with the 6262 JB with ported irons, stretched slic, flat tappet cam, alky and TT chip. Boost and tune is very conservative on a 1.6 launch.
