Whats the HP rating on the 71? what size stall converters do you need for 6265 jb? 6765 jb? & 71 HPQ jb & BB?

There is not any exact dyno hp proof yet. The 71HPQ Billet should be 950+ hp.

6265 Billet J.B depends on Whose Converter you are using, if it is a PTC, you can run their 2800 stall. Another converter would be Approx. 3000 stall.

6765 Billet J.B. samething, depends on whose converter...Approx. 3000-3200 stall.
71 Billet J.B. ....Approx. 3200-3400 stall.

Any of these turbo made into Ball Bearing will require a little less stall.
All these stall ratings are approximate because it depends on whose converter it is and what cubic inch your motor is.

What stall is recommended for the 5857?

With these New Billet Wheels, it does not take much stall. For the 5857 you could run a Stock Converter!!
We currently have a customer running the 6262 Billet Wheel with a stock D5 Converter and he said he loves the spool up of these turbos.

Only complaints about these Billet Wheel Turbos is needing Sticky Street Tires!!:biggrin: If you consider that a complaint! ;)

With the Stock Converter, I would recommend NO Bigger than 6262 Billet Wheel.
Any bigger than that, I would recommend upgrading your converter to a PTC Converter.

I never used a 5857 but seems more in your range with D5. I would get the S cover too. 4" 2.5" for extra insurance against anti-serge.

We have run 11.20 at over 120 with the 6262Billet with a loosened D5 convertor,motor was all stock with te exception of replacement valve springs


Damn!!!! My combo: Bone stock motor, except; PTE44, FMIC, MSD-50's
Tranny full of billet parts, 7 disc 0 pump vigilante.
Best to date: 11.6 @ 117.5

Could I expect something close to your quoted numbers with just a 6262 upgrade??
 
I have a billet 6262 with a 0 pump vigilante. It spools right up on the foot brake. But it is kind of a slug from a 10-20 MPH roll. I picked up 3-4 MPH over my GT3255. But the GT3255 spooled like lightning from a 10-20 MPH roll. My $.02. :biggrin:
