Whats the chance that a bad chime module would cause defogger, tail lamp, and instrument illumination fuses to blow? Out of the blue one by one they would blow. One blew replaced it turned on lights and the next one blew...reading the schematics thats the only thing they all have in common

take it out and see what happens.. i'm sure you'll find that you won't miss it even if it wasn't the problem..

ok well after ripping the dash apart i found a chafed through wire its a gray wire wich is the illumination wire for the dash lights...so problem solved..thanks for the input

its not on that circuit it is on the clock cig fuse
According to tne schematics i have it all ties into the 5 amp fuse then turns into a green wire and goes to the dimmer switch..i may be wrong it happens alot lol... and its only on a 5 amp fuse the cig lighter would use more than that right?

Let me look I just checked the 30 amp circuit and seems the module was on it .I'll check
