I'm looking to go a little quicker and upgrade my inj's and turbo. Not sure that I want to go to a BB 70 because the car is mainly a street car. I ultimately want a 10.7-8 car and can quite get there on my PT-61 and 60lb injs. Anyone out there using this new PT 6868? Just wanted to ask the experts thanks.

I ran 10.80 at 127 with the 6776DBB weighing 3700#s at 22#s of boost

Its a great turbo,If you buy a dual BB version get the .85 ex housing
If not bb go with the 63 housing,Ive run in the 10s with both

Otto

What was the rest of the combo for the 127 mph on the 6776 BB? Sounds like a nice street turbo.

Otto,

I have a 62/65 BB that I am going to try with a .63 AR.
I went with the .63 since it is my driver and on 100% stock long block.
My goals are only mid 11s though...

John, let us know how it works, I have a few of those on the shelf, but haven't gotten any feedback on them yet...

Bone stock short block,212 roller cam,ported stock heads,ported stock intake,stock t-body,pte stock location,3.5" downpipe,dual nozzle alky
and XFI,car also weighed 3710 with me in it and ran on pump gas at 22#s
of boost.I did have the .85 ex housing which is best imo if you
have the DBB turbo

You should be able to get PT61 down into the high tens. Especially with a FAST system.

Vader T..

I think there's not many 6868's out there because... there's really no reason why you shouldn't go straight to a 70GTQ. 6868 is a 68GTQ. By going to a 6868 vs 6776/6765, you've already given up spool up because of the bigger exhaust wheel. So... going with the 6868 is almost pointless because it will spool similar to the 70gtq but not make as much power.

If you have a combo to warrant going beyond the 6765, than a 70GTQ is then warranted. They do make a 67GTQ too that would be an in-between. If you trully just wanted to run 9.9x and not any faster, then a 67GTQ is probably the best turbo under that curve.
