another tranny down the drain

took the car out early last night and got on it. when i got to the top of second gear it just friggin reved and wouldnt go anywere. now theres all kinds of noises coming from the torque converter area. this is only like my 5th or 6th trans so i guess i shouldnt be that pissed right? i guess its time to take it to dynotech. is it even possible to make these things last?:mad: :mad: :mad:
 
please let me know where you get your trans, so I wont......

I blew up trans also in the past and they where Art Crap, err Carr
 
Get the HI-PRO about $1400 or so, and worth it. :)

Maybe a few other billet widgets if you can afford them.
 
I have a freshly rebuilt 200R4 tranny forsale. I ran 10.61 @ 128mph with it. Its got a clean bill of health and a 9" ATI non lock up 3500 stall converter that goes with it. It didn't need freshening up, but I did it so who ever buys it is getting a hell of a deal. Lots of lute wrapped up in this. Going Turbo 400. Tranny mods are:

-hardened stator assembly
-10 vain pump rotor
-high rev ring kit
-500 tho boost valve
-modified pressure reg assembly
-extra wide Alto band
-Alto 3rd gear clutch kit
-modified valve body and govenor
-billet servo assembly

Pm me if any of you guys are interested. I will also give you the number to the tranny shop that built it. Very repitable place.
