took my 87 gn out on saturday.
car felt off right from the start.
all original does have eric's chip and i have scanmaster.

outside temps 85+ seemed like it couldn't build boost.
all scanmaster readings were good except for ats read 103-104.

after my drive put it in the garage let it cool down for an hour started it and ats still read 103.

so my question is what does the temp sensor effect if anything?
does it richen or lean out the incoming fuel?

i drove it about a week ago and everything was fine.

I believe on his regular chips it doesn't have that much influence on fueling . I have his SD2 chip and I know that the temperature sensor has a lot to do fuel so I actually had to moved it to the intake manifold . Where do you have it ? 103 is high after sitting for awhile ? I would put a hole in your intake pipe or air filter shoulder before your MAF and put it in there

Mine is in my turbo pipe going to the throttle body. Mine read 94 the other day at idle after I drove it. I did not put it in the turbo pipe someone else did. I dont know why but it seems to work there.

I have Eric's AXiS box & chip combo and I was instructed to just tape up the intake air temp sensor and tuck it away, I didn't need to drill a hole in my custom intake and re-insert it.
