Hey, found out that GM did use a virtually identical digital dash to the one I installed in 6-fitz's Turbo-T out of an 87 Park Avenue... Seems as tho one from an 87 Buick Skylark looks identical except for the fact it does not have the PRNDL gear selection indicator under the speedo. This would be the ideal unit to use for those of you who don't want to go thru the hassle of hooking up a gear position sensor. The entire cluster out of the skylark is also a lot narrower than the complete unit from the park avenue so installation might be easier. I still do NOT know if the skylark dash reads beyond 85mph because I have heard that some of the park avenue dashes blink at 85mph like the turbo-t's stocker. The digital cluster we installed in the T reads beyond 100mph with no flashing so I am not sure about this.

If anyone has one of these older buicks or has tested one above 85mph please let me know if your speedo did or did not read above 85.

BTW the RPO code from the 87 Park Avenue for the digital cluster is: U52.
