4" aluminum oval tubing. Available?

Hey guys,

I am wanting to save some weight by running 4" oval aluminum single pipe exhaust. I need ground clearance.

I was wondering is 4" oval aluminum pipe exsist?
Something like this in shape but in aluminum. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-inch-Oval...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item27a0b76565

Thank you.
Couldnt you simply get 4 inch aluminum and roll it in a press. Or find a press that could flatten it?

I think it gets tricky not on the straights but 90's and 45's.

Spintech has oval tube and bends but I do not think they have aluminum, they have aluminized and stainless last time I checked

You are correct, only stainless and reg steel... Nice looking stuff though, wish they did aluminum.

I made my own. I had to use 2.5" aluminum U bends and cut them lengthwise to make a bend. (3.5" oval) I welded in a straight piece after bending it to match. It is time consuming. You really need an oval mandrel to "flatten" aluminum tubing or it'll bow inwards if you roll it. Call Burns stainless and see if they will run some for you. Here is a thread on the stainless 3.5" exhaust down pipe I made for a TTA. http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/threads/tta-3-5-oval-down-pipe-is-finished.228325/ I also made aluminum 3.5" oval for the intercooler, too. You could make it out of 3" aluminum and then cut it in half and weld in strips of aluminum to make it 4" oval. Time consuming, but real cool when you are finished.
