Selling my winter beater as it isnt winter anymore and need money to fix my SSEI and pay for summer classes. Im not a ford guy, so real ford techie Qs I many not be able to answer. Heres what I know:
228K on the 4.9 inline 6 motor. Auto trans and manual 4WD. Ive done the following to it:
-Changed the head unit to an Alpine Media deck (couldnt take just AM/FM only anymore)
-Changed Spark Plugs
-Changed oil Twice now in 5Kish miles Ive put on it
-Ran seafoam through the motor to clean it
Has some issues though, as is follows:
- Driver spring mount is broken - so its got the detroit lean currently.
- Rear fuel tank has a slow leak in it.
- Rust - southern michigan plow truck 80% of its life.
- Rear tires will need replaced fairly soon.
Like I said, just an A to B/ B to A and sometimes A to C and back truck. Nothin fancy, will add pictures later.
