I spotted this car about a year ago for sale on Craigslist and since I had just purchased a 87 GN so I shrugged it off and kinda forgot about it, well a few weeks ago I spotted it again and decided to tell a buddy that was looking for an affordable GN/T-Type. The seller was hard to get ahold of and finally after many emails he got back with my buddy. Come to find out This car is a 1 owner women driven car, her husband ordered the car brand new for her(all documentation is with vehicle from day 1)from a local Buick dealer, she hated black so she wanted rose wood, column shift(has VD6/VD7 options too). This car currently has 155k miles but like I stated above it has every service record to date, car is a barn find for sure as the body is laser straight, paint is doing the typical fading/checking while the rest of the car needs a good detailing due to being in the southwest there is no rust and it runs flawlessly.

Figured I would share the story and some pics, the new owner is on the fence about modding it or selling it to buy a modded T or GN, seeing how the car is 100% original and with all the documentation provided with the vehicle he doesnt want to devalue it....Input anyone?

Thanks for looking.

Well, if he decides to keep it there's a couple things under the hood that are not original nor correct that need replacement.
1. It has the wrong MAF
2. There's some kind of strange looking device mounted over by the powermaster with a rather crude looking mount.
3. Also interesting that the car doesn't have cruise control.

That is a add on cruise control aftermarket .

With that many miles I would not hesitate to fix it like you want it and have fun with it , Remember its only original once . nice find though , I kindly like them Rosewoods check my sig .

Love Rosewood T's :). Do the basic upgrades (pump, springs, timing set, etc) so it's reliable to drive and leave it alone.

Hmmm, my GN had the same Maf, so did my 7k mile TTA.

It's hard to see the one on your TTA, but the one I see on your GN looks stock. The one on the Rosewood T above is definately not stock, it has an hour glass shape and has extra mounting ears on the back side of it.

Rosewood (mines dark) must have been the popular older folks car as mine was in similar shape, with the exception of someone doing me the courtesy of a repaint and drivetrain rebuild. Other than that it's got 152k, column shift, we4, and is pretty much stock... For now.

Nice find, clean it up and do with is as he pleases. It's his car.

Looks like a nice find. Interior looks like mine except mine has no power windows or locks. Nice car with a lot of potential.
