11's Stock Turbo 93/Alky

You may have mentioned it already but do you still have the front sway bar on?

Back in 05 I ran several 12.2x's @ about 110 with my stock turbo set up. You're doing good...keep it us updated...

Great times with the combo and stock turbo, what were the weather conditions like. I am trying to figure out if I want to try and wring out the stock turbo some more or step up a little. The biggest difference I see is you run a taller tire and a 3" downpipe. Obviously all cars are a little different too. Those are some good times for what you have into it.

The weather was clear & 44degs.
My DP is 3.5" thru pypes exhaust . Opening test pipe made no diff. Just added knock.
The taller tires helped my combo since I do not lock the converter.

You definately have it dialed in. What plugs and gap are you running? Thanks.

Great job with this combo! Good reading!
You might find a small gain with the plug gap at .025 above 5000 RPM
Looking forward to the turbo upgrade ........

Finally got around to bolting on a TA60 W/6.1 TT Chip. I did not get much chance to tweak anything Very crowded at ATCO 9/12/14.
I was only able to get 3 runs. Last run was at 11:45pm There a couple of oil downs at the track. I tried to make my usual launch 5# on the first pass. Just spun the tires 12.8 @112.81 Then tried 0# 11.55 @114.23 Then 2# 11.48 @114.57. I had to Max the Alky at 8 still had a little KR top of 2nd gear then bottom of 3rd.

Wow, congrats! Big gain with the TA60. My combo is similiar but have a TE-44. Hoping to run times close to yours.

With the Alky at 8 you may want to check the pump at full pressure? 160psi + My pump had a leak at full pressure and could only hit about 130psi, it was 3 years old.

My pumps usually go about three years before they leak too. Part of the game.

The green light comes on every time. I bought the pump test kit. I need to back flow the filter since I have never cleaned it.
There are no external leaks on the pump. My first pump leaked. I made the mistake of using lubed alky. I have also not changed the initial black box settings.

Actually runs better with Hot Lap.

Thanks, Mike
Have you made any changes to your chip setup? Also...what is your boost controller...any specifics? thanks.

With the Stock turbo I used a TT5.7 chip stock ECM with powerlogger & scanmaster

I use a home made grainger/RJC valve for boost control.
Controlling boost is not real hard when you are pretty much maxing the turbo out.

Defintely looking forward to seeing what the stock turbo will do. Few less mods than you but i'm hoping to be in the low 12's.

With some Alky & DR's that should not be a problem.
You can try it with some Race gas & DR's Then your wearing out O'2 Sensors (Been there)
Good Luck,
