Waaaay back in the day, I had bought a GM Service manual from ATR that was over 3 inches thick and all loose single pages. After Looking at the fuse panel diagram and seeing more than a few labeled as "lights" and "Inst guages"....I decided to treat her to the latest illuminated fuses that...

    Running lights cut out!

Was at a Wendy's drive thru at night with the 86 Ttype when I noticed my gauge lights went out. Little did I realize when I got home to park in the garage, the running lights were out too! I had dodged a bullet by not getting caught without running tail lights! Is there a specific fuse I...

    Speedo failure (not the swimwear!)

My Mechanic told me the original lubricant had turned to the consistency of 'glue' and caused it to stick. I just hope whatever lubricant in a can he sprayed in both ends works. Its not bouncing or squeaking now. I'll find out for sure tomorrow when I pick it up.

Well, before the fuel pump issue, the dashboard connection not allowing the alternator to charge, aaaaand a brake issue..... my speedo stopped working completely. While trying to bring the Ttype to a friends house to show off the rebuild, I hopped up on the Turnpike and immediatey noticed that...

Picked up an '04 GTP... couple questions

Even if its barely gonna see the track and be a 'daily'...I'm gonna suggest u get rid of that U-bend lurking under the car. Will free up some ponies and maybe even help some MPG. ZZP says the stock wires are often better than most aftermarket wires, so you're good there. Not to mention ZZP has...

ZZP High Velocity throttle body ....Happy but Stumped!

You'll prolly giggle, but the ONLY weight reductions I've done to the car are removed spare tire and jack (never came in the car i bought anyway lol) and removed floor mats. Wish I had bought this car without a sunroof! =/. Other than that, car weighs 3650 with me in it. And yes, a look...

ZZP High Velocity throttle body ....Happy but Stumped!

Finally got my stuff together with a new ACDelco boost solenoid and made it out to the track friday for a little TnT. There was an event the next day so the track was extra prepped, meaning NO excuses for bad launches etc. The weather for my experiment was perfect and identical to my previous...

    gawd diddly dammit....low boost!

FIXED!!! That unconnected hose was driving me nuts, so i decided to start ordering stuff to fix the problem rather than get around it. Ordered GM part # 1997244 thinking it was the round black actuator that i disconnected the hose from. When it arrived, out of the box comes this tiny gizmo...

    gawd diddly dammit....low boost!

Yes, someone at Regalgs suggested the same thing with a photo and it fixed the low boost problem right away! I may not be OCD but seeing that BBV open to atmostphere with the hose just laying there is driving me nuts! May just trim the hose to Appear connected and still leave it open lol...

    gawd diddly dammit....low boost!

After attending the Street Legends event this past week...I decided to add a quick mod to see if i can improve my hot weather tune. Purchased a ZZP High velocity L67 throttle body to challenge their claim of a .2et /2mph gain...out of the box the new IAC it came with was stuck and threw my idle...
