My rear diff yoke has gone bad and I'm weighing stock replacement vs. upgrade. I did a search and found a few mentions of a billet yoke but nothing about who makes it, where to get it, or how much it is. Can anyone help me out on what upgrades are available?

I have found that the clips that hold the caps on the rear u-joint have eaten into the pinion yoke allowing the u-joint to move back and forth in the yoke. In other words, the driveshaft does not stay centered in the rear yoke anymore which causes varying degrees of vibration at highway speeds...

I have a '91 Chevy 1500 4x4 and it also has the floor shift for 4 wheel drive. The actuator in the axle housing is a common failure. The GM part # is 26013495 and list is around $162.81. GM warranty time to replace it is .3 of an hour.

Feel free to correct me if I"m wrong but I remember the SVO's as being low 15 to high 14 second cars, where as the GN's were mid to low 14's.
