I am getting a noise from the converter / front of trans when the engine is running. Sounds like loose rocker arms or a loud typewriter. The noise goes away when the converter is unbolted from the flexplate. Its a 3200 9/11 converter. Has anyone encountered this noise?

I'm having a problem where my ecu isn't reading the rpm's correctly. I have tried 2 different analog tachs which both say I’m idling around 1100 rpm when my ecu thinks I’m at 850. What actually sends the rpm signal to the ecu? and could this be the problem?

Ok, i'm having trouble setting my idle. I have it set in the chip for 750, but in reality in park it's between 1100 and 1000 and in drive it's between 1000 and 900. I have the min air set to 650 rpm. Also no matter where I set the min air setting my iac's never go below 40.
