I has a alternator to go out, showed 11.5 volts while running at alt. I put a new one on and it barely runs now. The only thing I did was to disconnect the negative battery cable while it was running, I think this was a mistake and it is running like it is running on 2 cylinders, won't idle...

Here in Jacksonville we have the 4th weekend cruise-in on mainstreet Jax, Fl. It is a large event, 12 blocks long from 1st street to 12th street. They say there is around 1000 cars that show up. I did see one GN while I was cruising around in my TTA. I did this video as I cruised around.

Just wandering where GNX 83 is today. The previous owner of my TTA, purchased GNX 83 new.

Stopped by the shop today in GA and picked up my 2 blown headgaskets for souvenirs. The one on the right side is the worst. Replaced with new felpros and arp headbolts. No piston damage. Everything else looks good.

What is considered to be normal compression when you do a compression test? In other words what range is considered normal or good.

Oil and smoke come thru vent pipe on pass side valve cover, not at idle but around 2000 or higher rpm. Drove it down the road and a lot of smoke got inside car and the oil had blown out on the firewall and the engine. Any clue to what is going on?

Where can I get the 2 turbo exaust gaskets, one is a donut gasket and the other one is metal with 3 bolt holes.

Drove it down the road for about a mile and smoke is coming out of exaust and greatly deminished power. It has a stock rebuilt Garrett turbo. Is there any way to check and see if it is really the Turbo gone bad?

Looking for belt tensioner assy, for TTA, but any of the GN would work. Mine is broken at where it mounts.

I am looking at 86 gn for sale. I looked at the title and it said Buick lesabre, but it has the turbo motor. I ran car fax and it also says lesabre. Has anybody seen this before?

On 89 turbo trans am, I was testing voltage to cigerette lighter , must have shorted it out, it is not working and my interior lights are not working either. Could it be a fuse or relay. The only fuses I see is on the driver side under dash, I checked them and they seem ok, What is the problem.
