Helwig rear sway bar is a really nice piece. cheap and effective. the stock sway bar doesn't really do much.

You can get a seal repair kit from Gbodyparts and other vendors, i'm sure.

Always careful with knock, the few strip-runs I have done involve me staring at the KR reading on the Scanmaster. No dramas yet. I can get higher octane fuels (95) at some petrol stops.

Thanks guys. my question is pertinent as here in the UK our fuel,is lower octane so I have to be careful. Our 'regular' 95 fuel is actually 91 by US standards.

To add to the OP's question, as i'm considering turning my boost up from the current 20lbs of boost, based on Turbo Dave's comments above, what sort of octane fuel should be used in addition to ally for higher boost?

have you checked the MAF readings as you accelerate? Should rise quickly as you accelerate and be at 255 if the throttle is fully depressed? if the car has suddenly gone wonky the MAF may be the culprit.
