T-Top problems

I would recommend the 7211 - 1978-1987 Buick Regal (All models including Turbo Regals) -

The original stuff is usually dry rotted in there. I would not recommend putting anything on the outer weatherstripping. It's used a channel for the water to run off and down onto the door windows. Thats why its important to have a good seal on the windows. If you have any kind of gap above the window you can take the door panel off and adjust the bolts to let the window come up a little more tighter or replace the T-top hatch wheather strips.

I spent a lot of time adjusting the hold down rods and now the T tops don't move at all. if you sit In the car and push up on the front of the car you may see the T tops rise a little. This lets wind in, lots of it. Even after al adjustment I could push a paper note thru the rear side of the T top glass. I fixed this by adding an extra rubber trim on top of the existing seal.
