Load the bj. Impact gun on the nut. Cut off the nut with a torch.

Are you 100% sure that the body is completely square on the frame? Most g-bodys are off alittle bit (ok alot, look at the door gap on g-bodys). My monte is only off a very tiny bit because I loosened the body mounts (ok I actually broke them in doing so) and wiggled and measured till i was happy.

Well I was supposed to get the trans and everything out of the truck today but it wasn't delievered to my shop cuz the was too hung over to drive his tow truck today. Hopefully this week I will be able to get everything out of the truck.

ppl where afraid to touch the control arms? damn never heard of that but then again I dont goto shops that I am not confidant in the mechanics work. I have found u are more likely to bend the bushing lip then the control arm. Just goto a suspension shop and they will do it for ya...
