He is pretty sore, but still up and around. It's hard to get him to slow down and heal. We got the car out of the trailer yesterday, and into our garage for disassembly. The car (frame and body) is toast, looking like motor is fine will know in a few days when we can get it out. Aaron Micale

I would not give up on E85. I do not believe that is the source of your problem and it is well worth not relying on alky or race gas for protection. I have ran my car all the way up to 31 pounds(by accident) and not even had it blink an eye on the stuff. I would fight the good fight and figure...

The 49 is a great Responsive turbo. I have been running it on my car for 6 years and just took it off cause I wanted to go faster. I went into the high elevens with mine with ported irons.(Will be posted for sale soon after freshening) Make sure the converter is right and you will have fun.

I would say it comes down to if your a purist or not, and how changed the car really is from stock. If you tell me you have done motor mods and changed a bunch of stuff from stock on the car.....then does the sticker really matter at that point. But if the car is a bone stocker and you intend it...

I agree with all above statements. At this point I would rather not own one than own a hot air car in my opinion. Parts are getting hard, pain to work on, and MOST are just not fast after you deal with all that. Save your money and get an 86/87 and love life!!!!
