    Where is the oxygen sensor???

Thanks guys. With the help of the exhaust manifold photo on that site, I found it. I've sold the car. The new owner is coming to get it in a couple of weeks, and it needs to pass emissions before he can take it home. I'm going to miss it, but maybe I'll buy another one, one day.

    Where is the oxygen sensor???

I've got to replace the oxygen sensor on my 1986 GN. Its totally stock. Couple of questions... 1. Where is the oxygen sensor located? 2. Can it be replaced with the car on the ground, or do I need a lift? Is it possible for someone to post a pic of the oxygen sensor location? I...

2009 Corvette ZR1 "Fire Sale" at Selman Chevrolet, So Cal

What's really funny is, over on Corvetteforum there are guys ordering 2010 ZR1s for MSRP. So your dealership there had better act fast, or he is going to be holding on to a very, very expensive example of last years model ZR1, of which there are about 100 sitting, unsold, nationwide. This...

    1986 GN hardtop for sale

Bump. I can't believe I haven't had any serious interest in this car. Just a Nigerian scammer that I ignored. I think the price ($15,000 Canadian) is fair, and I am open to reasonable offers. This car is REALLY clean, and a very solid driver. Aside from the AC, which needs a...

Best place to buy weather stripping?

Thanks for the suggestion regarding the wind noise, Dennis. I don't worry too much about water leaks, as the only time the car sees water is when it gets washed. Only comes out on sunny/car show days. I purchased the "how to adjust windows" book from you, and will follow that, see if I...

Best place to buy weather stripping?

I have the Sofseal stuff on my 1986 GN. Fit was ok, and it is soft and pliable. Still working on getting the windows to seal properly though, as I have a lot of wind roar at highway speeds. I couldn't justify spending the huge dollars on the official GM stuff, when the Sofseal package is less...

    Fleetwood Mac

They are just a foursome now, Christine McVie retired from touring in 1998. Too bad, I always thought she was the best songwriter of the group, and had a very good voice.

    Info on a Hummer H3.

A coworker has one. Went for a ride in it...pretty stupid design, IMO. If you are taller than 5' 5", you will have to lean down to look out. The windows are tiny, its like riding around in a bunker. Looks stupid too, like all Hummers. I'd say, unless you are all about "Look at me!" get a...

1989 TTA trade for Grand National-Oregon

I've got a very solid '86 GN here that I'd be willing to discuss a trade for. Or car is for sale. It is a hardtop, with about 118K kms. Since I bought the car two years ago, I've done the following to it: new BFG Radial TA tires, serviced brakes, new fluids in brakes, engine, trans and...

    Radio options?

Another option is what I did; use the factory radio/tape deck, and via an FM modulator, control a CD changer in the trunk. The small controller for the CD changer is hidden underneath the ashtray lid. I changed the junk OEM speakers out for small identical-size aftermarket (Kenwood and...
