doesn't need to talk to anyone really......a twin turbo v8 setup to go 8s isn't that hard
get yourself a solid foundation (dart block), 18* heads, and a pair of 66-1s
mid 8s all day long
OBVIOUSLY you are going to need everything else to support the motor like: fuel, intercooler, ECM...
only reason i wanted a FAST system was the redundancy with the self correcting wbo2 sensor.
THATS IT
otherwise i'd run a GM749 ecm with an innovative wbo2
Plus i got my FAST with wb02 for $1100 brand new
So Craig....if you dont think it is safe to run 2 relays off the fan circuit, would it be ok to have the one relay trip the other to turn on both fans?
you mean the difference between the smaller 3" inlet, 2" outlet to the 4" inlet, 2.5" outlet compressor covers?
if that is what you mean it is usually about 10%
Limit Engineering is cutting my compressor covers for $40 a piece when everyone else wants $100!
plus they said it will ship out 2 days after they receive it
:)
i think PTE was talking to you about the PT61 which has the new GT series 61mm wheel that is very very efficient and is pretty much a replacement for the older 60-1 wheel buts its lighter and more efficient so spool is faster and makes more power
here, maybe this will help:
The GTQ outflows the Q-trim and the P-trim
The GTQ also out spools the Q-trim.....so basically what you get when you get the GTQ option is the great flow characteristics with greater efficiency which makes it spool similar to a P-trim
better?
check out www.aempower.com and go to the forums.....maybe they'll have the GM 2 bar there
I know i could just get a 5v regulator....no bigge. Just extra stuff i just wanted to make it a little cleaner ya know
i need to datalog an extra IAT and an extra MAP sensor.....
i can artificially create my own 5v source but i figured this would just be easier
the reason why i need a 5v source for the IAT sensor is that my datalogger doesn't datalog thermistors. So, i know, you are asking yourself if it...
i am running a cheap 4 channel EXTERNAL datalogger besides the FAST one and i need a 5v source for them.
I know that the MAP, H20, and IAT all have 5v sources going to them and then going to a wire splice in the harness
you think it would be safe to tap 2 more wires into that splice to...
actually with the IAT sensor you need to make sure you get the one with the holes in the thermistor.....i dont believe the f-bodies that early had them
76 with a Q wheel and a maxed out motor and turbo combo you're looking at possibly 1000hp....more likely in the 950range
76 with a GTQ wheel, PTE rates it for almost 1200hp and again that is for a maxed out motor/turbo
the cheater 76 is bigger than a PTE 88...physically anyway
and he didn't go 170...he did go 8.47 @ 164mph though
here are some pics of the type of cheater 76 they use:

it's for sale if you are interested.....it's been modified to help with...
