Sorry I am not familiar with that one. TransGo however makes a valve for Non-Lock converters that goes right into the pump W/O pulling it. It keeps the lube circuit flowing properly with the different converter.

Are you sure you aren't noticing L/U disengaging and reengaging?

Let me try this again, without the tongue in cheek. If you have the right guy do the job he will know more than just what the instructions say to do. Certain changes that may be needed, either in addition to or as one of the selections in a VB kit. That alone can be worth more than that price...

It sounds like the common sticking Throttle Valve. This is one of the most common problems in a 700 and real easy to fix and keep fixed. I use the TransGo Jr. Shift Kit in a year such as yours since the original timing is essentially OK. I have used tons of these to fix this and other problems...
