    No TCC lockup... help!

The Ecm supplies ground to the tcc solenoid. The brake switch opens the positive circuit, so yes the ecm will still command tcc when the brake pedal is pushed.

    4760E question

Don't forget to replace the input seal in the t-case. It will most likely be hard as a rock and leaking trans fluid into the t-case.

    Head Bolts

NAPA has head bolts for less than half the price from the dealer. Are the lower priced bolts a lower grade or are the dealer bolts over priced? The guy at NAPA laughed at me when I said the bolts are too cheap ($12 per head), I'd be afraid to use them.

    86 T-Type Stage II Car 64K

I took a close look at this car as it was traveling through Nebraska and happened to make a pit stop here in Kearney. Very nice car and good luck to Duane, the new owner.

    speed gear?

    3.73 X 20.2 = 75.346 divided by 26" = 2.897 so using gears available for the 2004R a 10 tooth drive gear and a 29 tooth driven should be close.

    What's going on here???

Are you sure this wasn't a 30 spline converter? If it was, it won't drive the input shaft.

I would look in Jegs or Summit at some coolers of comparible size, should get you in the ballpark for gvw.

    Kearney Nebraska Buick Challenge

Fun was definately had by all at last year, Dave did a great job organizing the event. We had cars from Colorado, Iowa, Kansas and of course some from Nebraska. Be sure to add the Great Plains Challenge to your schedule of events to attend in 2004!!!:D

    Transmission conversion

The TH200, TH350 and the 2004R are the same length so the driveshaft will be the same. The 2004R will use a different crossmember, any G-body will due. If you have the metric 200 now, the rest will be the same. With a TH350, a tv cable and dipstick tube will be needed.

I've found that shims in place of the crush sleeve eliminates this problem.
