where was the head cracked at, why not just pick up a used one and have the head rebuilt there is nothing special about them, could have possible other issues like bent valve stem, warped or was this head looked at closely. What also caused this crack and if you have tranny issues this could...

Check for corrosion on you're ecm plug.

sounds pretty good as long as they are all within 10% of each other and approx. 130 or higher.

Mine has some shaft play up and down i would say about 1/16 th of an inch or so and no issues, 1/8th sounds a little suspect but may be okay.

Depending on the amount of damage you can fix wether ya want a t-top setup or not is up to you take it to a body shop and they will estimate it for ya. If i get a chance i'm helping a sherrif out repairing his gn and i'll take pics were right at that area and he has 3 holes that i will weld in...

mine appears to be on that same road also but i'm just thinkin its time to change it, i'll be watchin this thread for curiosity sake though and good luck.

Just for giggles i would also look at the connectors to the ecm and to the ign module and make sure they are not corroded and or are properly seated just for piece of mind sakes.

You got something major out of wack, what boost level ya runnin it with, my stock turbo had me in the low 13's and plan on my new turbo to take me high 11's mines in my sig., i would definetly look into it you got a lot left on the table just need to find the issue.
