Hey Keith, I have had several caps fail due to the sensor wire leads inside the cap. Also seen caps 'act up' due to excessive end play. If I buy new I replace the spacer washer with a roller bearing and keep end play to a minimum. Hope this helps.

Realistically low to mid 12's on 91 octane (no alky) should be your goal. On top of what you listed invest in a set of ported irons, FMIC, suspension uprade, Drag Radials and a nice extender chip from Bob Bailey to get into the 11s and possibly high 10s ET. On 91 octane, without ported heads...

PVC issue. Had same issue on rebuild with 50 miles and I knew the rings were seated fine after a compression test. Oil out the dipstick all over a nice clean engine. Defective PVC, new from Kirban, was the culprit. Blocked it off or get rid of it.. NC87GN

Hey Brad, I think going from 17" performance rims and radial tires to 15" weld rims with M/T ET street slick is what your not use to. Your ET street sidewalls have alot more 'flex' compared to the Z rated 17" radials you had. At the track a different story will be told. If it feels unsturdy...

Replace the stock forward drum with a billet piece. I just broke a stock one on a GN with ~ 300HP.. All the reputable transmission shops typically carry them. Mike Banas 87GN
