10-10-2010: Sunday: Crevier Classics Huntington Beach

Thanks for keeping us posted Gary. That would have been too bad if the Cad's were completely shunned. This is going to be my first show bringing my GN, so I am not too aware of the details. Do we all meet at 8:00a when it opens? I'm going to be driving in from Anaheim Hills, anybody want to...

    1984 Buick GN Astro Roof?

Astro Roof I have an '85 with an Astro Roof. I knew they were rare, but I have no idea where to find the numbers on how rare. I'm with everyone else on this. If you are going to make the investment in a hot air, don't. Buy a '86-'87. I like having a Hot Air because they are rare, but I wish I...

    fuel pump questions

On the sending unit, there are adjustments on the contacts. I basically had to do a guess and check outside of the tank with the unit plugged in. It was quite simple once I figured out how it worked. Float goes to the top, gauge says F. Float goes to the bottom, gauge says E. I have a digital...

    fuel pump questions

Try Racetronix When I did my upgrade, I got everything from Racetronix. AFAIK they are a vendor here. RXG7-FPKG. I got the walbro 340 (which is just the part number, GSS340M correct me if I'm wrong) that runs at 255 liters per hour. This was a direct install in my 85 AFTER I made sure I matched...

Question about coil pack and module

Just checked... I had to go to the car for that one. Based on the wiring on the photo and my current setup, the wires to the front of the car go to the drivers side and the wires at the back of the coil go to the passenger side.

    Mr. Tip Top

Hmmm.... Very interesting. 1. It sounds like someone jumped the fuel pump to come on with the key. Not to smart, but that's what we are working with. 2. Your car not running doesn't sound related to the fuel pump being on all time. Do you have spark? Pull a spark plug, hold the tip to...

    Mr. Tip Top

x2, as Jerryl said, start with the basics. Does it go off when you turn off the ignition? Do you have to disconnect your battery to stop the pump? Did this just suddenly happen? Project car in the middle of a rebuild? Was the car running before this symptom? Give us a little more info...
