I can't seem to get any of my suppliers to make them. They are too small to fit on the bender. I have one supplier that says they may be able to do it when they get their new machine up and running. Still trying.
Can the oil pressure switch keep the fuel pump from running? Mine is doing the same thing. The car had been sitting up for a few years when I bought it. It turns over fine and will start briefly if I pour gas in the intake but I don't hear the pump running. Checked the relay and fuse and both...
All I've got done so far is a 160 degree thermostat and I'm getting ready to order a walbro fuel pump. I'm just exploring my options as to whether or not go hot air or intercooled. I didn't want to completely convert to intercooled. I would like to make around 500 rwhp. I know its going to take...
I know I've read something on here about it before but is there a way to add an intercooler to help cool the air without completely changing to the 86-87 setup? I saw something about it on the gnttype website but all of the links for the suppliers of these kits seem to be out business.
Shouldn't be any wind noise. They should actually be sealed up better than factory because of the urethane. The older butyl glue isn't the best. I'll keep everybody updated in the coming weeks. Thanks for all the input.
It would have a black painted band around the edge to hide the glue. I could also do them out of lexan for the drag cars. Hope to have some pics up in a couple of weeks. Response has been very helpful. Thanks
Yeah. Usually just takes a heat gun our razor knife and removing the inside panel. Urethane goes in a caulk gun and thats pretty much it. I'd plan on providing instructions.
The front and rear would be a lot more difficult to do because of the curvature, but I'll look into it. Would $200 be reasonable including urethane to reinstall them with? I can't find any prices on the originals to compare it to.
I own a glass company and I was thinking about making a frenched rear quarter glass for the grand national. I know the rubber around mine's not in very good shape and figure I'm not the only one. Though it might be a lot cleaner look. Just checking to see if there's any interest in this kind of...
