I fill the tank, drive the first tank in the spring without getting after it too much. Fill it up with fresh fuel replace the filter. Two years now no problem.

Direct clutches don't seem to live very long with the Transgo kit. Don't know the part number but it's the one with three stacked separator plates. I don't know if it cross leaks or what but every unit I have pulled apart with that kit (30 plus units) direct clutch was toast.

I have used those brackets, they are updated geometry and work well. I agree you need a longer TV spring

What horspower level is it nessessary to go from a roller spag to a element sprag in a TH 400? I know through th '80's they ran roller sprags in 1 ton chev tow trucks dont remember ever seeing one fail.

What 2nd frictions do you use DW CK? if you use borg warner waved frictions and a waved steel it takes some of the hit off the sprag

You must have a problem with your thermostat you should not have a problem w/this radiator

50/50 Mix I have been running 50/50 mix so far this year and the car loves it. I have a TT pump gas chip 42.5 and TA 49 no knock retard ever 20#boost. If I had 60's I'd run 100% e-85 w/e-85 chip.

specific to your questions 700r4 is not a performance transmission. The input drum will not take alot of horsepower or torque regardless of all band aids to make it work. Rossler Transmission has some F-Bodys running real fast with some realiability but it will always be maintenance issue.
