i have an 84 ttype with the stock MAF I don't hear any turbo spool. Vehicle drives but stalls out when I take the MAF off the vehicle runs and idle fine. I have an 87 MAF and an 87 ECM but the ECM came with a street chip which my stock 84 doesn't have the proper injectors for. What can I do ?

Took my 84 ttype out for a spin today. Car started to sputter then it stalled. I got it home took the stock MAF off and replaced it with the 87 MAF. Do I need to put the 87 ECM in as well? I don't have an chip at the moment for the ECM will this be a problem ? Once I put the 87 MAF now I can...

Not com plet sure then. When I started it up yesterday and drove it. It was perfectly fine didn't stall once but the day before it did once. Not sure if it was bcuz yesterday I let it idle for like 15 mins before driving. The day before I just put it in gear and drove it. Might be the IAC or...

Honestly the issue I had before was my converter bolts had fell out. I put them back in but they wasn't tight enough. Now that they are completely tight it didn't stall yesterday when I took it for a drive. But I'm going to drive it some where just to make sure it doesn't stall out anymore.

I fixed the stalling issue. Today I got it up to 75mph but when it got there I sound like the rpms was to high. Like if it was an high idle while doing 75?

So I fixed the stalling issue today and took it out for a drive. When I gave it some gas at like 75mph it feels like the the rpms was too high. Kind of like a high idle but when doing 75.
