Melted 1 piston, replacement advice requested

Options abound for something like this. If you have decided how much you are going to spend, pistons are good from several custom builders. I'd send one of them to Total Seal and let them know what I was doing with the application. Never had ANY ring issues with them by the way. Bob Foster...

    84' T/Type S2 Project

With health issues (heart condition last 4 years) and now being relegated a full time senior citizen, I'd like to find someone that's looking to continue this project. This is not a rust belt t/type but still needs paint, cage & interior. Everything included along with the custom built OE V6...

    On Center Build questions

I'd like to suggest.. a smaller TB & Turbo for cruising the street. (it will still get you in more trouble than your good attorney will want to deal with btw.)

    Benefits of higher seat pressures

240 lbs. seat @ 90% bind will get the job done unless you need to be killing flies with a 5 lb. hammer. A few other things can be added to this mix if needed. I've never been concerned with nose pressures?? Gary Noel Manton has springs and his son has the pushrods.

Need help selecting an air filter

The example on the right (blue filter), looks to be the "Scotty Air II/III" system as adapted to the Cummins Ram. Scotty Filter Co., went to INA for their improved (replacement) foam filter element. I replaced my K&N (washed it way too many times) and updated to the 2 layer foam element...

    oil filter theory and questions...

Early on, most engines had no oil filters . Chevrolet (1955) offered the option of the partial flow canister ($18.00 if my memory serves me). It was standard practice that changing your oil got [you] far enough not to be concerned, then again, the car builders did not have engine mileage...

G Body Drag Car Alignment Settings

60' & stay straight to the end and then stop with little or no input is critical. Anything other than this and your ass is mud. I suggest befriending someone that does this to put food on his table. Spend time at your track and you WILL get acquainted the right person. (& if they do not...

    stage 2 head question?

Anyone ever eye the "Sabre" series heads? This was the last edition of the S2 head (1987/91). Scotty Brayton was running them with his fathers efforts. They look like they had some serious flow if what I saw at AJ's was an example (Howard Gilbert was at the helm).

What to add to old gas?

I'd pull & flush the tank (and not bat an eye doing it).
