IIrc there was provocation on the students part towards the guardsmen (who were young too) after some tear gas. Believe one girl was shot or killed that was not part of the protest but those protests as the ones today are all peaceful right. That unit hadn't had a lot of training in that area and they were scared of being attacked.
Anyway, my point was these riots are not going to be stopped being nice and trying to reason with them, they are hell bent on destroying our way of life and the Constitution and replace it with communism. 6 months of this crap is 5 months and 29 days too long.

Ultimate accomplishment in life. I guess its trying to lead a righteous life and follow Jesus' teachings as best we can. And that is sure not an easy thing to do coming from this sinner. I suppose if we follow his rules the best we can and our hearts are in the right place everything else will come to us. We may not become millionaires, marry a fashion model, live in a mansion but we will be given what we need and in today's times that's a lot.

I hear what your saying, however what I’m not hearing is that BOTH sides are doing the same thing. What gives. It’s all bull shit. What really cooks my ass is all the threats and violence against what ? you know I got sent across the pond to kill for freedom and the right to be free, really ? . I’m supposed to believe chicken shit, private bone supr Trump cares about any of that.Biden either. If we are not careful this country will fail.

Sad but the only thing you fought for was the industrial-military complex and staying alive with your buddies like many have done. But one thing for sure you honored your call to duty no matter what it was for and most important you honored yourself and that you can be proud of. Honestly, I can tell that you are for doing that. As far as Trump, he hasn't gotten the country into any new wars and has scaled back the ones the other morons started. When you see Trump with the troops and they with him that kind of affection cannot be faked.

That may be true but the ultimate test is like something Rush Limbaugh is going through and staying on target. What about our own Ray and his life threatening issues and his time at war. Think chancing Everest might be easier and safer. ;)

Think about this Doc, it doesn’t matter who wins this election in regards to the ones on this thread. I don’t see how it’s going to change your life. You will still be doing what you do for money as well as everyone else on this thread. Unless someone here is homeless and has nothing to eat. Which I don’t believe any one here is in that kind of shape.We all will continue to do what we do no matter who wins. I became an adult in the 1960’s. The government never effective my life but one time no matter who was President, R Or D. Now I did get drafted, which turn my life upside down. However there is no longer a draft. I don’t see anything that that Trump or Biden could do that would effect my life.

I went to vote this morning and only had to stand in line for about 15-20 minutes so I was thinking this was going to be great. I got in there and took my ballot and went to mark it. I couldn't find Kanye's name on there anywhere. I was sooo disappointed. I started to throw the whole thing in the trash. I was about to ball up my ballot but then decided, dang it, I waited so I'm voting for somebody. I looked at the names and spotted a guy named Joe and some Harris girl. I went to school with a Martha Harris who had 5 sisters and I though that she might be one of her sisters and everybody knows Joe, the guy that never comes out of his basement, so I started to vote for them. Right as I started to mark my ballot I remembered that Martha turned me down for prom and I got mad all over again so I ended up marking the ballot for some Ronald guy. I hope it's that guy that makes those good french-fries. Next time I go I'm going to tell them that I voted for their clown to be President. Maybe they will up size me for free if he wins.

as long as my pay check is the same and I still have my retirement and the country does not slide into depression...or Marshall law does not have to be instated ....food ,fuel, utilities and infrastructure remain same ...I will be fine taking care of the course and my assets....and most important my loved ones and friends ....and the law of the land remains the same and followed and enforced.....
