Ok, so here is the spy pictures of what is supposedly an ATS-V coupe with a Buick grill and what seems to be different tail lights than the regular coupe. http://www.autoblog.com/2013/10/25/cadillac-ats-v-spy-shots/?a_dgi=aolshare_facebook

Here is the spy pics of the regular coupe and facelifted sedan. http://www.motortrend.com/wot/2015-...th-face-lifted-ats-sedan-386855/photo_01.html

Different grill, different front bumper (but it is supposed to be a V) and what really looks like different tail lights.

Thoughts?

That certainly looks like it could be it. Spoiler covered, hood buldge covered, even looks like there could be a fender vent. Not to mention the buick grill. Maybe

Grill looks Buick, as for hood too hard to tell. Don't like the rims( I know its just for testing). It's got the right amount of doors and looks half way decent. Let's make it happen GM.

Two door, I might be interested. Right wheel drive?

Don't like it...maybe the end result will be more appealing but so far no thanks...

The more I think about it, the more I hope it is not a new GN, or if it is, it is a flop. I don't want our cars to be severely upstaged and become worthless like the C4 ZR1.

I think those are cool cars still. Old 911's with 110hp are still cool too. Time will always bring faster cars and "upstage" the older cars.

How is a c4zr1 worthless. For its time it was a really cool Vette. The marine engine and departure from round tail lights. I'd roll in one.

I loooove the C4 ZR1. My point is their value went down and they are overlooked now that the name has been reused on something much wilder.

If they come out with a 550hp GNX, it will not make the original less cool or worthy of good money. I think the same is true of a C4 ZR1 that truly is in great shape. JMHO.

Yeah, maybe you're right. We will see if it comes out and what it looks like. If they do come out, we need to make sure we find them at the track, line 'me up, and blow their doors off. That right there will keep our values high.

It's time we face the fact that faster and better cars will be manufacturered that is inevitable.

But our buicks have already made thier mark in history and will always be viewed as a classic muscle car.

Let's not be reluctant to change.

Well, keep in mind if/when they do make it (GN), it will likely be powered by GM's 2.0 turbo 4, much like what will be available in the ATS.
If they do make a GNX it will likely be based on the XTS platform and could have the same 3.5 twin turbo motor that powers the XTS. GM claims that motor is good for 400HP, which is a bit stronger than our Ecoboost's 365 rating.

The Turbo market is definately HEATING UP!! Ford turbo's nearly every thing they make, and GM is moving in that direction.

Im willing to put up $5 that GM will not be daft enough to put the 2 liter in a remake. I think the fall out would be embarrasing. A detuned TT v6 for the GN and a raped ape TTv6 for a GNX. U

If I were a betting man, I'd be all over your bet like white on rice! I'd bet the 2.0 turbo motor finds its way into the GN, assuming it's built.

Then we shall make it a friendly bet. I lose, you get my wife.
