Yeah I will agree. However I don't remember anything. Thank goodness Scott W and Nelson made a video of the event. The night time party really is a blast:eek:

I am putting our golf cart away when it gets dark.

Doug, actually the Index and heads-up classes are one in the same. By your sig. you can run the 12.49 and/or 11.49 heads up index class. Think of it as a mini TSM of sorts except you CAN run too fast so be careful... Alot of the THS cars if they decide to join us can run any of the index classes. Don't forget you can enter more than 1 class at a time however you are responsible for making the round call. This is the first time that there has been any index Buick racing that I am aware of. Its going to make for a good time. I can say that your ability to leave the starting line with the reaction time is critical to good index racing. Thank you Clint!! We definately hired the right guy for this race event!! Top Notch "Race Director"!!! :) And trust me, because of Clint, this Event will be a Big Success!!

Like Clint said, he is handling ALL the Racing!! I am in charge of the registration and handing out the PAYOUTS!!:biggrin:

Hey Gang I plan on coming to this event for sure....this will not be the first time coming but the first time for bringing my car.....

I do not plan to run any classes but only some Test and Tune with the new engine and see how she does.....

Since I am only going to test and tune do I need to pre-register????????

Or can I just show up at the gate....what entry fee will I pay just to show up for test run's?

Good to hear. BTW, the test n tune sessions are open to ALL makes / models of vehicles. I noticed that over the past years you may find anything from a diesel truck to a BMW. So tell all your friends so they can come out and have a great time!! You will just pay at the gate for your TNT session.

I have friends and family coming...my buddy is bringing his SRT8 Jeep.....It cracks me up to see a 5,000 pound 4door Jeep run 12.60...LOL

This event is approaching fast and we are getting everything organized to have the Best Year ever!! :biggrin:

DEADLINE for Pre-registration forms must be received by OCTOBER 20th.
So if you have not mailed yours in, now is the time to do it.
Pre-registration cost is $25.00 Friday Racing & $25.00 Saturday Racing.

For those of you wanting to wait and pay at the gate, the cost will be $35.00 for Friday Racing and $35.00 for Saturday Racing.
Spectators are $10.00 per day, Kids 12 and Under are FREE.

Wife and I are going on vacation in Fort Meyers , Fla the 7th thru the 14th. We could leave early and attend on friday and head on down after that!!

What is the schedule of events on Friday?? Sorry if I didnt see it posted somewhere!!

Mike,

As Clint posted, we are finalizing the track times with the owner Ed.
We are probably going to have the same times as we have had for the past 5 years.
I have requested that the Track Gates open around 9 or 10 am so that every racer has time to set up their pit area and get ready for some test and tuning, followed by qualifying rounds. The track is usually preped and ready around noon.

Friday evening, the owner stops racing at 5 pm, so his staff can eat dinner, prep track again and then start racing again at 7 pm until 10 or 11 pm.

Ft. Myers is probably about a 9 to 10 hour drive from Reynolds, GA.
