Z06 MAF and a regular Translator

Other than the $18 adapter, what do I have to do to utilize my translator (not a trans+) with a Z06 MAF? Im putting a turbo on that has a 4" inlet and I already have a Z06 MAF laying around. Will it work or will I need to get a translator+?

The Translator is reprogrammable. If I'm not mistaken the Z06 MAF is a different calibration then the LT1/LS1 ones, so you'd need to get it reprogramed. I'd suggest that you contact Mike at FullThrottle for the most up to date. accurate info..

you just need to be sure your translator is version 6 or higher.

if not you can get an update chip.

Open the lid and see if there's a version number written on the big microprocessor chip inside.
