windsheild with antenna?

has anyone replaced wsheild with one that has antenna in it?.do they make one?i hate my auto antenna.

I started a thread last week asking the same thing with no responce i know plenty G body guys did the change over just need them to chime in!

I replaced my windshield a couple years ago with one that has the antena in it. I got it from a local autoglass place. Call around to your local glass places and see if they can get you one.

I dont think getting the glass is a issue more the cable for the radio and what is needed.

All you need is the antenna wire and the windshield. You can find one out of a '78-82 G Body in the junk yard, or possibly buy one from G Body Parts. If you take the bottom wildshield cover off you will see three dimples dead center just below the windshield. Just drill one hole to fit the cable through and 2 small holes for the mounting screws.
