Will the powermaster without any modifications handle Wilwood disc brakes on 4 corners? Anyone installed these Wilwood brakes or any other brand disc brakes with the powermaster and how was the performance.

I don't have any problems with the Powermaster system and my 4 wheel Baer disk brakes on the GN.

Reverse butt dyno. says they are better than stockers. :p

Never measured any stopping distances.

Only "mods." are to the proportioning valve for the rears detailed in the Baer literature.

Allan,
Thanks for the reply. What mod did you have to perform on the porportioning valve?

When going from drum to disk out back you remove the 7/8" cap from the side and then discard the small spring, spring perch, and the serrated rubber ring located behind the plunger.

Probably keeps the bias from triggering the light going from drum to disk.

They also show you how to do a proportioning valve if you need or want one.

I didn't need one. :)

Haven't been to Lime Rock yet though.... ;)

Artie,
I ran the powermaster with the Aerospace rears stock fronts. They worked like a charm. This is with the factory combo valve removed and a adjustable Wilwood valve on the rears only.

Right now im in the process of replacing the PM with a manual Stange MC. Hopefully ill be doing the Aerospace fronts in the next couple of weeks.
