Will ZDDPPlus affect Emissions testing?

I second the notion (no) simply because its based on what was in the oil originally....again not a technical answer just my thinking and heck we sell a lot if it!!!!!

What does an emissions test check?

Hydrocarbons
Nitrogen Oxides (NOX)

Neither are affected by the presence of zinc in the oil. Even if it's being burned because of bad valve seals or rings, the zinc and phosphorous won't show up, because they're snot sniffing for it.

The zinc will deaden the catalyst, that's why they took it out. But it takes a long time to accumulate and to burn back off. I also suspect the aftermarket ZDDP puts in a lot more zinc than many older motor oils had to begin with.
