Will 27C32 Eproms work in our ECMs?

I am looking at a used programmer, but it doesn't do 2732s, only 27C32. Will 27C32s work, or must they be 2732A? I know it is just the cmos equivalent, but every reference that I have seen is 2732A for our ecms.

Thanks,
Tom

27c32 eproms will work. I don't think the burning voltage is the same for 2732A eproms as 27c32 but it might not make as difference. ie as long as you are using 27c32 eproms you should have no trouble. If you burn 2732A/B/C eproms I don;t know.

I think that the burning voltage is same for 2732A and 27C32, different for 2732. The programmer (burner) will definitely handle the 27C32, but not the 2732 and I am unsure about the 2732A.

But if the 27C32 works in the ECM, I am covered.

Thanks,
Tom

If you can burn it, the ECM will read it. I haven't used them in the 148's but I have in the 6869, 6870 and 7170's.

Should be fine.
